Every time I want to make a bad pun on "Outlook good" (“Outlook - bad. Thunderbird - Good.” comes to mind...) I have to remind myself those are a major contributing factor to me being (and staying) single.
How does one “pseudo-date”? Through long instant messaging sessions?
Pseudo-dating = friendship with the possibility of dating. Involves two months of long instant messaging sessions; a lot of online flirting; several phone calls; a touch of serious discussion about morals, long distances, being somewhat weirded out by it all, and the notion of developing a relationship; and making plans to meet over the labour day weekend to see how it works out in real life.
Unless he's vastly different IRL, I anticipate dropping the "pseudo" by this time next month.
Well, you know, the last sentence isn't true if you're dating someone who you met through blogging...
ReplyDeleteTeri: In the immortal words of the Magic 8-Ball, "very doubtful."
ReplyDeleteYou know what's funny, though, is that at the moment I'm pseudo-dating someone who found me through blogger.
